An Update on Serge

We’re thrilled to be able to provide a follow-up announcement on Serge Obolensky.

Last year, we shared The Story of Serge Obolensky, in which we documented Serge’s story and the assistance The Aftermath Foundation provided to him, thanks to so many of you.

The Aftermath Foundation helped Serge get new prosthetic hands, a new prosthetic eye, and extensive dental work required after years of homelessness. We also provided tutoring so he could attain his GED, and we proudly attended his graduation.

If you have not seen his story, you can do so here:

This past weekend, Serge started an art course at a local college, the funding for which was provided by The Aftermath Foundation. Here are some pictures of Serge’s first class, which Serge agreed we could share with you:

The faculty staff were thrilled to have Serge in class and commented on his exceptional talent!

We want to express our gratitude to the incredible volunteer who recommended this program to Serge in the first place and was generous enough to arrive on-site to help him get started with his first class.

We appreciate your continued support!
